Nubia and their Red Magic flagship phone are relative newcomers to the USA and had a somewhat successful and rather respected Red Magic 3 released last year, which was a solid budget option for those looking to game on their phones. It’s also massive and is the first phone with a built-in fan, for cooling.
This phone uses the upgraded Snapdragon 855+ processor which has 4 cores clocked at 1.8ghz base with 3 running at 2.42GHz with one single high performance core clocked at 2.84 GHz and uses the rather powerful Adreno 640 GPU, what this does is allow the phone to operate at lower power usage when say texting but use its faster cores when gaming, or any other heavier task.

Niche Gamer’s Take: with the cheaper edition going for about 420 USD when doing the rough exchange rate, the features on this phone are pretty beefy, and for those who want to buy a Chinese off contract phone might want to take a look at it, it also features an incredibly beefy battery at 5000mAh as well as a ton of other features. Frankly, if these can be released for under $500 this is a decent option.
