Gearbox Publishing has announced Homeworld 3.

Featured above, the first trailer for the game was revealed at this year’s PAX West.

The game is being developed by Blackbird Interactive, the former Homeworld devs that also handled the Homeworld 1+2 remasters, and its Deserts of Kharak prequel.

A Fig campaign is now available to fund the game’s development. Blackbird and Gearbox hope to “give fans both new and grizzled a chance to fuel and profit from Homeworld 3’s success.”
