Bandai Namco is Investigating a Potential Bomb Threat Sent to Their US Office

We’ve learned Bandai Namco has possibly received a bomb threat to their main U.S. office.

The company is currently investigating the potential bomb threat, which purportedly was called into their main Santa Clara, California office – news confirmed by IGN.

Bandai Namco provided a statement regarding the potential threat:

“We can’t provide any comment regarding the validity of the threat as there is an ongoing investigation in progress. We can say that all our employees are safe and that we will be doing everything in our power to safeguard the well being of our employees.”

It’s good to hear our friends at Bandai Namco are all accounted for and safe – but still potential threats should be taken entirely seriously in this day and age.

The supposed threat comes within a week of Square Enix Japan being threatened with a “repeat of Kyoto Animation”, by a disgruntled Japanese man. This was referring to the awful arson attack that claimed the lives of 35 people at Kyoto Animation last month.

We’ll keep you guys posted.
