Text-Based Globetrotting Adventure Wanderlust: Travel Stories Launches August 28

Different Tales and Walkabout have announced the release date for Wanderlust Travel Stories.

The text-based adventure game is launching on Windows PC, Mac (both via Steam) and iOS on August 28th. You can check out a trailer above.

This text-based, narrative-driven adventure game is created by Artur Ganszyniec and Jacek BrzeziÅ„ski, both of which previously worked on The Witcher. In the game, you will travel across the globe, making choices that alter your character’s perception of the world and the people that populate it.

Here’s a rundown of the game:

Wanderlust Travel Stories is a digital travel experience. Feel a sense of awe and discovery as you visit a hot Thai marketplace or the peaceful Antarctic seas. Explore jewels of the world, from Bangladesh to Congo, from Papua New Guinea to Faroe Islands. It’s a game to play when you’re traveling – or wish that you were.

You Don’t Have to Fight. You Don’t Have to Rush
Slow down, relax and take in the beauty of the world. Wanderlust Travel Stories is rooted in the values of Slow Gaming. Experience the adventure at your own pace.

Two Kinds of Journey
Lead your characters through life-changing travels to Africa, Asia, Antarctica, both Americas, Oceania and Europe. Make choices that will change your perception of the world, because it’s about your inner journey as well.

Stories to Shape
