Today’s Spotlight is Ancient Lands: The Tsar Awakening, a turn-based tactics game with card management by Anatoliy Sidorov.

You control a band of three heroes fighting against malicious creatures in a fantasy realm inspired by Russian folklore. To do this, you’ll build a deck of cards that represent various special attacks and buffs. New cards can be acquired by spending your quest rewards to purchase packs. The game also heavily focuses on environmental manipulation and traps. You can watch a trailer above.

Ancient Lands: The Tsar Awakening is available on Windows PC via Steam for $14.99.

Here’s a rundown of the game:

Ancient Lands: The Tsar Awakening is a combination of turn-based battles and a card system for gear, which allows you to create many combos in battle and get a unique combat experience.
