Ghost Recon Breakpoint Beta Launches in September, New E3 2019 Trailer

Ubisoft have confirmed details on the planned beta for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

The beta will run from September 5th to the 8th, and will let players explore the Auroa archipelago, solo or in four-player co-op. If you pre-order the game you’ll be guaranteed access. If you don’t pre-order, you can also sign up for a chance to get in.

More details were revealed for the game’s story as well. This time around, the focus is on Colonel Cole D. Walker.

In case you missed our prior coverage, Walker and a faction of Rogue ghosts have taken over a small island with the world’s most advance drone production facility. To make matters worse, he is the brother of the main character.

Walker will be played by Jon Bernthal, most famous for his work in The Walking Dead and The Punisher. You can find an interview with him below:

In addition, the Ubisoft E3 2019 press conference confirmed AI controlled team-mates would return. The beta will also begin September 5th.

Finally, we got a very brief snippet of what appeared to be Terminator related content, but we have no further info at this time. We will keep you updated as we learn more.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches October 4th for Windows PC (via Epic Game Store and UPlay), PlayStation 4, Stadia and Xbox One.
