An unofficial Pokemon-themed pop up bar is coming to New York City.
The new eatery is called simply Poke Bar, and it’s coming to the big apple sometime this fall. The new event will offer custom Pokemon-themed burgers (seen above), games, themed cocktails, and prizes given out throughout the day. The cover fee for the event will be $25, or $35 if you want a Pokemon-themed burger.
While details are scant, the event will be themed after the original Pokemon games, with attendees going on to hunt, catch, and battle each other in real life. The physical area will be divided up into seven regions, with two hour sessions. If you complete all seven regions, you’ll be crowned the winner.
Division winners will be given an “awesome” prize, and there will also be giveaways for the best dressed person, in costume.
The date of the event is to be announced, but you can register here to be notified when tickets go on sale.
