Mutiny Software have released a reveal trailer for Sellswords: Ashen Company, a game they claim is the first of its kind – an action RTS.

The developer notes the game is a mix of “RTS and third person combat,” set within “huge battles with thousands of soldiers.” Featured above, you can view the latest trailer for the game.

Clear inspirations for the game are Mount and Blade, as well as Total War. You’ll play as the mercenary company’s captain, traveling the world seeking contracts, managing your company, and taking part in massive battles.

The game’s public pre-alpha is available now via their Discord server. You can find some screenshots below:
