Western Twin-stick Roguelike Colt Canyon Announced, Releasing Q3 2019

Headup Games have announced a new game developed by Retrific Game Studio, Colt Canyon.

A twin-stick shooter with roguelike elements such as permadeath, you are tasked with saving your partner who has been kidnapped by bandits and “perhaps you can save more people than just your beloved one.”

The press release elaborates on this, stating that some rescued people will offer you upgrades, fight along-side you, and unlock different starting load-outs and abilities.


In addition, “though the canyon’s basic layout is handcrafted, everything else is randomized.” Areas can also be explored to find the aforementioned captured NPCs, weapons, and ammo. Finally, the game also local two player co-op.
