Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 North American Tournament Announced

Nintendo have announced two North American tournaments, one for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the other for Splatoon 2.

While the finals shall take place at PAX East on March 30th 2019, the open qualifiers will be purely online. Players must first register through the Battlefy website (Smash Bros. here, and Splatoon 2 here). Participants must be from North America, Canada, and Mexico.

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

    • Online Event 1
      Includes Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast Regions*
      Qualifiers – Feb. 2
      Finals – Feb. 9
      Register by Feb. 2 at 9 a.m. PT.
    • Online Event 2
      Includes Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast Regions*
      Qualifiers – Feb. 16
      Finals – March 2
      Register by Feb. 16 at 9 a.m. PT.
    • Online Event 3
      Includes Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast Regions*
      Qualifiers – March 9
      Finals – March 16
      Register by March 9 at 9 a.m. PT.
      *Each region has a cap of 2,048 check-in players for each qualifier. Total of 8,192 players per qualifier series across the 4 regions of play.
  • Splatoon 2
    • Ink Pools Online Qualifier
      February 10
      Starts at 9 a.m. PT and ends when the top eight teams have been determined.
    • Qualifier Finals
      March 2
      Starts at 9 a.m. PT and ends when the top four teams have been determined. Stay tuned to find out how to watch the livestream!
