Photo Mode Confirmed for Metro Exodus

Publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games have announced a new game mode for Metro Exodus.

The post-apocalyptic shooter will have a Photo Mode right at launch, for all platforms. Windows PC users will benefit from Nvidia’s proprietary screenshot capture software Ansel.

“Photo Mode has been one of the most requested features from the Metro community,” said 4A Games executive producer Jon Bloch. “They’re relatively rare in first-person shooters, but the team have been determined to make it work and give Metro fans the opportunity to capture their own stories from the Russian wastelands.”

Deep Silver noted the Photo Mode reveal is the first in a week of announcements for the game. A story-focused trailer will drop tomorrow, with other reveals in the following days.

Metro Exodus will be launching across Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
