Reto-Moto’s persistent multiplayer WWII shooter Heroes & Generals has just received a substantial new update.
Update 1.12, dubbed Deploy! Drive! Destroy!, completely overhauls nearly every aspect of the 70+ vehicles in the game. Vehicles now have more realistic armor and weak spots that players will need to learn to focus on to deal any meaningful damage.
To complement this new system, vehicles will also have modules and components that can be damaged to decrease a vehicle’s combat effectiveness without having to outright destroy it. Rejoice comrades, assault bicycles will finally get their chance to shine on the battlefields of Europe.
Terrain has been reworked to alter the performance and handling of each individual vehicle. As you’d expect, driving through mud, water, or grass will be more difficult than driving on a road or pavement. You can watch a trailer for the new update above, and read more about the patch notes here.
