Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood Uses Dracula X Chronicles Audio

We’ve learned the upcoming Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood remaster and re-release of sorts isn’t completely true to the original games.

The game will use the audio from the Dracula X Chronicles release, which was in itself a port of both Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night games for the PlayStation Portable (thanks, Mat Paget).

This will likely be a big issue for purists who want classic dialogue and voices that are only found in the original releases, like the infamous “What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talk, have at you!” monologue from Dracula himself.

Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood is coming “exclusively” to PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store, on October 26th.
