“The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented” DLC Now Available for The Surge

The Surge, Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive’s sci-fi Souls-like from last year, has just received its latest DLC pack.

The Western-themed The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented will put you against the bizarre contraptions of the eccentric Dr. Rischboter in a series of deadly challenges.

Find over 30 new pieces of gear and increase your rewards by activating up to 4 of 16 modifiers that implement special rules and conditions in each fight. You can find a launch trailer for the DLC above.

The Good, the Bad, and the Augmented will cost you $9.99.

Here’s a rundown on the expansion pack:

Enter the bowels of the CREO facility and explore an old and abandoned Quality Assurance lab created to push CREO’s tech to the limit. Warren will face Dr. Rischboter’s deadly test chambers that, for some reason, feel like torn straight out of a twisted Wild West TV show!

Fight through the mad doctor’s training rooms and try modifying them yourself for increased rewards by combining up to 4 of the 16 insane modifiers available. At the end of each stage, fight against distinct Challengers, powerful opponents forged from the training scenarios who are equipped with 30 unique new equipment pieces – armors, weapons, and implants – that you can take for yourself!

The Surge is currently available on Windows PC (via Steam), PS4, and Xbox One for $29.99.
