Marvelous has released a playable demo for Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal in Japan.

The new demo is now available for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store in Japan, but you’ll naturally need a Japanese PlayStation Network account to download it.

Clocking in at 2.17 gigabytes, the demo lets you play as students from the Hanzo National Academy, including: Asuka, Hibari, Ikaruga, Katsuragi, and Yagyuu. You’ll be able to learn the basic mechanics, experience the new “Burst” system, and even swap out costumes in the “Locker Room.”

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is launching for Windows PC and PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe sometime this fall.
