Nintendo and Cygames Announce Partnership and New Smartphone ARPG “Dragalia Lost”

Nintendo and Cygames have announced a new partnership, with the first project from their new collaboration to be the smartphone action RPG Dragalia Lost.

The game is set for a worldwide release, but with an initial launch in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau this summer. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for the game which features the theme song “Owaranai Sekai de” as sung by Daoko.

Nintendo will be obtaining roughly five percent of Cygames’ stocks via a third party transfer of its treasury stock, a move to further solidify this partnership. Both companies will co-develop and jointly support Dragalia Lost as a joint vision of a new game experience, with a focus on worldwide appeal.
