The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency is shutting down.

A San Diego-based studio run by industry legend David Jaffe, the company recently faced troubles and layoffs after an unnamed publisher pulled the plug on their next project.

Now, Jaffe has confirmed the developer is no more.

Jaffe did not confirm in his post why the studio was shutting down, however their previous update included a video where Jaffe and the remaining staff confirmed they’d kick around a new game project for a few weeks and see if they could secure funding. Coming from this, it appears they were unsuccessful.

Finally, Bartlet Jones is giving away their studio props, which you can sample here. They’re going to give away the props free to anyone in the southern California area.
