Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to October 26, 2018 Launch

Rockstar Games has announced the release date for Red Dead Redemption 2.

The game will forgo its previous delay to this spring for a release several months later – on October 26th for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Featured above as well as below, you can view some new screenshots:

The reasoning behind the delay is because the game needed “a little extra time for polish.”

A previous trailer for the game confirmed it’s actually a prequel, despite its numeration suggesting that it’s a follow-up to the original. You can read more about that here.

Wonder if this will have other publishers freaking out and moving games out of the way like they did with GTA5.

The Good, the Bad and please buy a bunch of spacebucks in order to buy some house that unlocks the rest of this title

They need some extra time to polish their “games as a service” model.

I’m not treating it like a delay since I never expected it to actually come in the first half of 2018, so it’s business as usual as far as I’m concerned.

They don’t have the balls to keep themselves out from the microtransaction cookie jar, tho

Don’t get me wrong I’m no fan of micro-transactions, but I rather see that then games becoming a paid service, which some companies are floating around.

huh? r u saying any other dev would call this something else? when u delay a game all devs would call it DELAYING a game. which publisher used a different word for this? no matter. rockstar is trashy anyways. and no hehe they do not have balls in the slightest. theyre a sleezy and lazy low life studio that preys on the stupid with their game policies.

“r u saying any other dev would call this something else?”
Yes that’s what I’m saying, in fact it’s in reference to one specific big name developer that did this, not that long ago.
