Shining Resonance Re:frain Gets Rated in Australia

We’ve learned that a new rating for Sega’s upcoming PlayStation 4 remaster for Shining Resonance has surfaced.

The new rating is from the Australian Classification board (via Gematsu) for Shining Resonance Re:frain, curiously by Sega of America and not Europe. This means the game is probably finally getting a western localization, considering the original version never made it out of Japan. Its producer also previously said they have interested in releasing it for western audiences.

The Media Vision-developed game is a remastered version of Shining Resonance, which originally released for the PlayStation 3 back in 2014 for Japan. Fans can expect the new version of the game to contain a new “Refrain Mode,” which lets you experience a what if type story focusing on Excela and Jenius – both of which being unable to become party members in the original version of the game.

Shining Resonance Re:frain is launching on March 29th in Japan, for PlayStation 4.
