Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Announced, Set for 2018 Release

Focus Home Interactive and developer Tindalos Interactive have announced Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2.

The new sci-fi strategy game with medieval themes set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe is set for a launch sometime this year, for Windows PC. Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer.

Fans can expect the game to include all twelve factions from the tabletop game in what is being posed as “bigger, richer, more impressive, and more ambitious” than the original game. This includes: the Imperial Navy, Space Marines, Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, Chaos, Aeldari Corsairs, Aeldari Craftworld, Drukhari, the T’au Merchant and Protector Fleets, Orks, and finally, the Tyranids.

The story will unfold via multiple “extensive and dynamic campaigns” taking place during the Gathering Storm and 13th Black Crusade timelines, which fans know to be “the latest dramatic story development in Warhammer 40,000 universe.”

Finally, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will be shown off in public for the first time at the What’s Next De Focus event in Paris, from February 7th to the 8th.
