• Destiny 2 Update Re-Opens Content Locked Off by Curse of Osiris Expansion

    We previously reported on Destiny 2‘s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, locking off content that players with the base game previously had access to. This naturally didn’t sit well with quite a few players and the like, however now Bungie has reversed the decision in a new update for the game.

    The new update changes up the Iron Banner and Faction Rally events, making them available to everyone – even those with just the base game.


    Here are the patch notes:

    Iron Banner

    • Players who do not own Curse of Osiris may once again access Iron Banner when available

    Faction Rallies

    • Players who do not own Curse of Osiris may once again pledge to Factions during Faction Rally events

    Destiny 2 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
