Capcom Working on New Games for Nintendo Switch, Rumor Points to New Ace Attorney Game and Compilation Releases

Capcom has confirmed they’re working on more new titles for the Nintendo Switch.

The news comes via an interview with company president and COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto and Jiji (via WSJ), where the company boss confirmed they’re developing new games for the hybrid console, including new Ace Attorney titles.

All the aforementioned games are set to be released after April of next year. Now, a new rumor (via Kotaku UK) is pointing to those very said games including two new compilations set to release between April 2018 and October 2018.

The first compilation includes the first three Ace Attorney games, the latter includes Ace Attorney four through six.

Finally, the third game is reportedly an entirely new entry within the series, which is set for a simultaneous worldwide release on Switch and smartphones in late 2018. The game will see Phoenix Wright returning as the protagonist, and will include five cases to solve at launch.

As with any rumor (especially considering this particular source) please take this with a grain of salt. Either way, it’s wonderful to hear Capcom is working on more games for the Switch. What Capcom titles would you like to see on the Switch? Sound off in the comments below!
