Día de Muertos-Themed 4v4 Multiplayer Shooter Morphies Law Announced for PC, Switch

New indie shooter Morphies Law has been announced for Nintendo Switch.

The game is billed as a four-on-four shooter, where players take on the role of Día de Muertos-decorated robots that are able to “steal mass” from each other and change in appearance over the course of a match. Character models morph and warp in real time as they shoot others, gaining mass in different body regions as they successfully hit enemy players, and losing mass as they take damage themselves.

Character models morph and warp in real time as they shoot others, gaining mass in different body regions as they successfully hit enemy players, and losing mass as they take damage themselves. Because of the mass mechanic, less successful players will be harder to hit and able to access more areas of the map, while players that are doing well will be much easier to hit and unable to reach certain areas. Whatever team has the most mass by the end of the round wins.

Morphies Law will launch this winter as a console exclusive for Nintendo Switch.
