Splatoon 2 Gets “Lost Outpost” and “Manta Maria” Stages This Week

Nintendo has announced a new batch of free downloadable content heading to Splatoon 2.

Later today, the game will receive a new update adding the “Lost Outpost” stage to the Salmon Run selection of stages, followed by the “Manta Maria” stage in the Turf War and Ranked Battle stages sometime this weekend. Featured above, you can view a new trailer introducing the new stages.

Both stages will also be available in The Shoal for local multiplayer battles. Here’s some screenshots for the new stages:

Nintendo also confirmed the special “Bubble Blower” weapon is going to be available first via a set combined with the “Forge Splattershot Pro” on September 1st.

Splatoon 2 is now available for the Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough written and video review for the game here (we highly recommend it!).
