• Accel World VS Sword Art Online Western Release Date Set, Launch Edition Announced

    Bandai Namco has announced the western release date for Accel World VS Sword Art Online.

    The action RPG will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on July 7th in North America. We’re awaiting the European press release, however the EU release was set for this summer as well.


    If you purchase the game within the first few weeks of launch you’ll be upgraded to the Launch Edition, which includes 2 exclusive DLC packs – Ordinal Scale Pack and SAO Origins Pack.

    The DLC packs contains the following items:

    Ordinal Scale Pack

    • Yuna — Playable Character
    • Ordinal Scale Costumes

    SAO Origins Pack

    • Sachi — Playable Character
    • GGO Avatar Costume — Kirito and Sinon
    • Knight of the Blood Oath Costume
    • Fairy Dance Avatar Costume — Kirito
