20$ is more than I’m willing to pay for the digital upgrade given that it only has 2 new characters. With Revelator the new characters didn’t even have arcade modes and there were a couple of exclusive DLC ones (who also didn’t have an arcade mode). This is some Capcom level crap with the yearly releases. I’ll be skipping this one until a price drop or the next “complete” edition.

If you have the previous versions of the game I’d rather go for Tekken.

I agree on that point, but that’s not really new for Arcsys, they’re doing that for Blazblue since Calamity Trigger even if there’s more content, the core game remains the same and can be seen as a simple DLC, instead they’re charging full game price.

I suddenly have more respect for SNK and their continuous support of KOF XIV.

Blazblue is one of the series I never got into.

SNK handled KOF XIV really well, but it seems they are the only ones with that model. Even Tekken has a season pass now.

Ironically, Capcom has stopped doing yearly re-releases for fighting games since SF4. But their DLC model is just as shitty anyways.

Yeah, i learned my lesson. It’s nothing like the Blazblue releases though since each one had a completely different story mode aside from the new characters. At least we got the extend version of each chapter instead of all that separate release shit on console. Crapcom is still the bigger offender though. With all that SFV fiasco, their pricing and ridiculous censorship cancer not to mention that aborted fetus they call Umbrella Corps that even Angry Joe turned to shreds. I wasn’t impressed by Resident Evil 7 either. If anything i’m waiting for Evil Within 2, that was a really cool game.

I agree with most of what you said. I just wanted to mention that Angry Joe is a poser SJW-lite.
