Persona 4: Dancing All Night Studio Dingo Goes Bankrupt

Japanese developer Dingo, known for their work on Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Photo Kano, and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva has closed its doors and is filing for bankruptcy.

After their official site went down a few days ago, a 2chan user went to the developer’s offices to find a letter stating that the developer has closed down and is planning to file for bankruptcy in the upcoming days.

After this was posted, a former Dingo developer came forward, stating that the company was about 300 million yen (or about 2.7 million dollars) in debt and that employees haven’t been paid in weeks.

It seems as if the developer’s last game, Reco Love, was the straw that broke the camel’s back for the company. Its commercial failure was too steep to recover from.

We wish the best of luck to the former staff at Dingo.
