SNK Corporation has released a new batch of gameplay for The King of Fighters XIV.

Featured above, the new gameplay showcases the newly announced DLC character Vanessa fighting off against Ramon.

Her first appearance in the series occurred in The King of Fighters ’99 Evolution, as a striker. She first became playable in The King of Fighters 2000 as a member of the Hero Team.

Vanessa was originally  just a normal housewife who secretly became a mercenary agent for commander Ling. Alongside her fellow agent Seth, they’re tasked with joining the King of Fighters tournament, held by Ling himself.

SNK previously confirmed a host of post-launch DLC characters, including: Whip, Vanessa, and Ryuji Yamazaki.
