Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 Announced for Nintendo 3DS

Atlus and Spike Chunsoft have announced Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 for the Nintendo 3DS.

The new sequel will launch in Japan on August 31st, and will cost 6,480 yen. Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer.

Fans can expect all of the classes included in the previous game, alongside the new classes: Alchemist, Farmer, Kenkaku, Monk, and Pirate.

Atlus is also hosting Etrian Odyssey 10th anniversary broadcast over on Niconico on May 20th, at 19:30 Japan time. Details are coming later.

    Expect to be waiting a long time. All the things they’ve announced that aren’t EO5 seems to point towards the idea that it won’t ever be localized.

    While that certainly is a possibility, I think their just waiting until Persona 5 launches in the west. I think they just don’t want anything stealing it’s thunder. Though the series has been selling worse since IV came out, but I just can’t see them not localizing what could very well be the last installment in the series. If they didn’t I would be pretty fucking pissed.
