Activision has confirmed the release date for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
The Vicarious Visions-remastered trilogy of games will launch on June 30th, for PlayStation 4. The game will cost $39.99. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the collection.
Fans can expect the games to have new animations, lighting, cinematics, a remastered soundtrack, full analog stick support, a streamlined save system and checkpoints, and even support for PlayStation 4 Pro and 4K televisions.
The game’s bonus levels and time trials have even been retouched, alongside the intro cinematic being redone with new graphics and sounds.

February 16, 2017 at 12:31 pmSooner than expected, but good on keeping it out of the crowded holiday season.
Wonder how long it’ll take for the PC, Xbox and possibly Switch versions to be revealed, though.

February 16, 2017 at 1:44 pmDay 1 for me. This makes sure that there will be at least one good 3D platformer this year.

February 16, 2017 at 3:27 pmWe don’t know how those will turn out though.

February 16, 2017 at 3:36 pmYooka Laylee has like a half hour of gameplay footage, and it basically looks as good as the Banjo games, but with better graphics.
I doubt Mario will end up bad since its one of the few series Nintendo is very careful with, unlike Metroid.

February 16, 2017 at 4:05 pmAfter Mighty No.9 Im weary as well, but I already wrote off that game once I saw gameplay footage. I have more confidence in these other three games, so Ill just wait and see.

February 16, 2017 at 4:08 pmYep, I’m in the same boat, especially when it comes to Kickstarter games. Shantae turned out to be awesome and I hope Yooka Laylee is too.

February 16, 2017 at 5:18 pmThe original Crash games are great, but this is Activision we’re talking about. They could very well fuck up these remakes.
Mr0303
February 16, 2017 at 5:57 pmThat’d normally be true, but they stated that they are keeping all the geometry and updating only the textures, so it’ll essentially be the same games with a couple more polygons.
