Yoshi’s Woolly World Composer Goes Freelance, Shares Unused Music

Tomoya Tomita, composer on Yoshi’s Woolly World, has confirmed that he’s gone freelance.

Alongside this announcement is his reveal for a few unused tracks that he composed for the game, which he posted to YouTube.

Yoshi’s Woolly World is also coming to the 3DS next month, and the latest video is cuter than anything ever.

    Better than New Island’s annoying soundtrack. But doesn’t hold a candle to the original SNES Yoshi’s Island.

    Wow, I just listened to all of these tracks back to back, and they all sound great. They are all heartwarming, and relaxing, just like the game itself, and don’t feel like throwaway tracks in my opinion. It is a shame they went unused, but the soundtrack that was in Woolly World was already great on its own. At least now, they get to be heard by others.

    That soundtrack is just one of the best period though, haha. I still play it to this day.
