Lost Odyssey Now Backwards Compatible on Xbox One

Microsoft has announced a few new games to join the list of backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles to play on Xbox One.

Joining the list today are Lost Odyssey, Toy Story 3 and Guwange. For reference, you can view the entire list of backwards compatible titles here.

Developed by Mistwalker under the overseeing of Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Lost Odyssey was released exclusively for the Xbox 360 back in 2007.

I had all the DLC for it. 100%’ed the game, as the cool kids say. Really underrated, even if it had a shit last boss.

Time to throw the disc in and give it another go through.

It’s been a long time since I played it, but I remember being very impressed by the writing, especially the thousand years of dreams stories. Having this on PC would be great to relive the experience, my 360 is long gone and as for the Xbone… LOL.

Before FFXIII, I dubbed this “The real FFX.”

XIII having put things into perspective, making FFX look like a rapturous work of soul-inspiring genius (which it really isn’t, but we’re talking perspective here), I now dub LO as “The real FFXIII”.

Also can’t wait for the NG hive mind to try to turn this into a discussion about SJW’s or some shit. Let it be known this article made me smile.

If you live in the U.S. You can grab a used copy from Gamestop for about $15. I lost my old disc and bought a used one a few months ago.
