First Two Episodes of Pokemon Generations Are Live

With the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon right on the horizon, The Pokemon Company has really been putting their best foot forward with the series.

The new short-form anime Pokémon Generations has it’s first two episodes live on YouTube, through The Official Pokémon Channel. The two episodes are a real heavy blast of nostalgia – but rather than taking my word for it, take a watch below.

The series will be adding a new episode, ranging in length from 3 to 5 minutes, every week from now until December 23rd. The series sounds like it will be jumping around a lot, featuring bits and pieces from all of the games, as mentioned in the video details:

From Viridian Forest to Terminus Cave, see the Pokémon world as never before!

Pokémon Generations revisits each generation of the Pokémon video game series to shed new light on some timeless moments. From the earliest days in the Kanto region to the splendor of the Kalos region, go behind the scenes and witness Pokémon history with new eyes!

Whether or not the series is being used to promote the November 18th  / 23rd release dates from the Sun and Moon games, Generations is definitely a fun nostalgia trip.

I'm a pretty chill guy. Huge video game fan, but a bigger anime fan. I also love to write - obviously.
