Sony Interactive Entertainment has invited (via Business Insider) select members of the industry to a new “PlayStation Meeting” event.

The new event will go down on September 7th at 3 PM Eastern, at the PlayStation Theater in New York City. All we know is that the company will “share details about the PlayStation business.” The event will be livestreamed, so you’ll be able to watch it at your leisure.

It’s worth reiterating that these events are usually for revealing new hardware – the previous PlayStation Meeting was back in 2013 and had the company reveal the original PlayStation 4.

Coming from this, it’s easy to speculate the company will reveal their code-named PlayStation 4 “Neo” console that night.
