• EVO Japan is Finally Coming, Details Coming at TGS 2016

    With this year’s Evolution Championship Series coming to a close, staff have announced that EVO Japan is finally happening.

    While details are scant, the announcement was made by EVO’s Mark Julio and two fighting game bosses: Street Fighter and Tekken producers Yoshinori Ono and Katsuhiro Harada. Further details are coming at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.


    EVO Japan was first announced back in 2010, and was set to kick off in May of 2011. However, the Tohoku earthquake disaster caused organizers to postpone the Japanese spinoff until further notice.

    Tokyo Game Show 2016 goes down from September 15th through the 18th.
