Bandai Namco announced during the recent Machi Asobi event in Japan that the Tales of Zestiria anime titled “Tales of Zestiria the X” will be airing in Japan this July.
The animation will be handled by Ufotable, the company responsible for all of Zestiria’s in-game anime scenes. The company is also well known for their work on Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, and the more recent God Eater anime.
While details on the anime are otherwise scarce, it was also mentioned that the ending theme for the series will be performed by fhána, who has performed for several anime in the last few years (openings for Kawai Complex, Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!, and most recently Haruchika). We also learned earlier that the opening theme will be performed by Flow.
