Square Enix has announced they’ll be debuting the very first English gameplay for their upcoming throwback RPG, I Am Setsuna
The first English gameplay will be shown on April 22nd, at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern. Fans will be able to watch the gameplay live over on Twitch.
The game is described as a throwback RPG that hearkens to classics in the genre, sporting a Chrono Trigger-like battle system and some unique art, it will reportedly pack a punch with its depressing storyline.
I Am Setsuna is coming to both PC and PlayStation 4 sometime this summer, in North America and Europe.

April 21, 2016 at 12:15 pmI lost a lot of interest in this title once Vita owners and PlayStation collectors were shafted. I can’t see myself supporting this release. Square Enix should be valuing the RPG consumer, and this includes supporting Vita, even if this makes them losses.

April 21, 2016 at 12:19 pmPlease Square don’t fuck this one up by censoring it. You already killed my hype for Star Ocean 5. Why couldn’t you do what Degica Games did and release an uncensored patch for free to those who want it? Sigh…I hate censorship.

Hopefully they’ll pull of making a depressing RPG, it can be very beautiful if done right, like Nier.
