New Gameplay for Afro Samurai Creator-Styled Action Game, Furi

The Game Bakers have shared new gameplay for their upcoming action game, Furi.

Featured above, the new gameplay trailer showcases the upcoming PlayStation 4 and PC game’s boss battles. The “Guardian” boss is a mix of a hunter, tactician, and a silly mercenary that utilizes camouflage, drones, and a laser sniper rifle.

It’s worth mentioning this is the entire boss fight – if you want to avoid spoiling the fight, wait for the game’s full release.

The game features character designs by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki. You can read more about the game’s design, style aesthetics, and more over on the PlayStation Blog.

Furi is launching for both PlayStation 4 and PC sometime later this year.

Whooo, sweet! Looks like it plays like the Felghana-style Ys games. Keeping an eye on it!

Also that soundtrack reminds me of Hotline Miami, if it is from the game.

Its made by Perturbator as well, so it makes perfect sense.

Edit: Its actually Carpenter Brut, close styles with some major differences though. Cant tell them apart some times.

A game made entirely of bossfights has my attention. Plus the speed and the general look of the game are amazing.

    The games were, sure.

But this has nothing to do with those; it just has the artist responsible for the manga, which in a series of adaptations led to those horrible games.
