First Screenshots for Styx: Shards of Darkness

Cyanide Studios have revealed the first screenshots for Styx: Shards of Darkness, their upcoming stealth action-adventure sequel.

Featured above as well as below, the new screenshots depict the titular Styx as he prowls some expansive environments, including the City of Thieves, the Elven city of Korangar, and more.

The environments in the upcoming sequel are described as “enormous and semi-open, with an emphasis on verticality.”

The developers are looking to give players lots of freedom to complete various objectives, while also unleashing Styx’s stealth and assassination skills, as well as his new moves, like rope-swinging and zip-lining.

Styx: Shards of Darkness launches across PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime later this year.

I’d rather support this than the yearly Assassin’s Creed iterations. Master of Shadows was a surprisingly fun game.

Styx is so much better than most of the AAA shit that has come out latelly.
His ugly gobling mug felt like a breath of fresh air in the stagnant putrefaction usually found in current big budget games
