We’ve learned (via Hachima) that SNK Corporation is working on a live-action TV drama, as well as a TV anime based on The King of Fighters.

Chinese publisher 37Games is funding the project, news confirmed via company founder Li Yi Fei at an event focused on the franchise.

While the live-action TV show and anime will be broadcasted to Japan, South Korea, China, and various parts of Asia, there are plans for an international release.

Lastly, the company boss noted that the live-action TV show won’t be easy to make as they want to live up to the expectation of fans, but they’re working on having it public soon.
