Following the announcement that both God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are coming west, many fans wondered if this meant the games would have an option for Japanese audio, or if there would be an English dub.

Now, we’ve learned (via PlayStation Lifestyle) that both games will unfortunately come with only an English dub, news from producer Yusuke Tomizawa.

“All the Japanese voices will be localized into English, and you will have subtitles as well,” said Tomizawa. However, his reply to fans wondering if there would be an option for Japanese audio was: “It’s just going to be pure English.”

God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are both coming west across PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC (via Steam) sometime next summer.
