Red Barrels Games have officially announced Outlast II.

The upcoming sequel to the survival horror original, Outlast, is launching sometime in the fall of next year. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut teaser trailer. It’s worth mentioning the sequel was first teased around this time last year, in a developer interview.

The game is currently in development for  PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac.

Here’s the a small press blurb, via Red Barrels:

No conflict is ever black and white. But once the dust has settled, the victors get to decide who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil. Human nature pushes us to extremes of violence and depravity, which we then justify by divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come. Horror rises from desperation and blind faith.
