Alientrap Games (Apotheon) have announced their next game – Cryptark.

The game is described as a 2D roguelike shooter, rife with science fiction goodness. It’s already up on Steam Early Access, however it’s also coming to PlayStation 4. Featured above, you can view the game’s debut trailer.

The game puts you into the boots of a privateer who frequents procedurally generated, derelict alien spacecraft, to earn government contracts and rewards. Each of these adrift craft houses lots of robots, security systems, and more.

Prior to boarding each ship, you’ll have to pick your equipment and weapons (the game currently has over 60 different kinds of weapons), to hopefully aid you in your way to destroying each ship’s central core.

A release date for Cryptark was not announced.
