In a recent tweet by Guillermo del Toro, we’ve learned that Junji Ito was a collaborator in the cancelled PlayStation 4 game, Silent Hills.

He also expressed how he and Kojima were fans of his work. Junji Ito is an incredbibly popular horror mangaka artist, often considered one of the best in Japan.

“Kojima and myself are fans,” said del Toro on Twitter, while posting various art from Ito-san. You can view an example of his artwork featured above, as part of del Toro’s messages on the artist.

It’s sad to see this information spring up now, as it serves as another reminder of what could have been a fantastic Silent Hill game.
