Versus Evil and Redacted Studios have announced the release date for Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma Volume 1.

The first volume of the game will launch first on Playstation 4, on September 22nd. While there is also a PC and Xbox One version coming, Versus Evil specifically mentions the Playstation 4 version coming first. Featured above, you can view a brand new trailer for the game.

There will also be a special discounted Trilogy bundle, which comes with all three volumes of the game, for 20% off the regular price (while Playstation Plus users get it at 30% off).

Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma Volume 2 and Volume 3 are coming at a later date.
