Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon Elaborates on Dungeon Delving

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the newest installment in the now long-running Mystery Dungeon series of Pokémon games, has shared some information about the game, as well as a snazzy new trailer.

In true Mystery Dungeon fashion, the game begins as you find yourself transformed into a Pokémon. From there, you’ll find yourself in the midst of some brand new (Pokémon) friends that you’re going to have to help save the world from some strange thing that has been turning Pokémon into stone.

Of course, this means you’ll be exploring new areas to help everyone out as well as figure out the mystery behind what is going on. Along the way you’ll have to help out Pokémon in your neighborhood, as well as help solve the problems of others you come across in your adventure.

As always, Dungeons are littered with items and things to pick up, like food, maps and other helpful trinkets – but there are hidden traps waiting for you out there too, so you’ll have to be careful as you explore.

The battle system from the previous games remains in tact, for everything from your own attacks to the way partners help you out in battle. Bosses will be tough fights, but with proper planning and strategy you’ll be able to down that boss – and recruit them for your own party.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon is set for a 3DS November 20th release in the US. following the September 17th release in Japan. A European release has been announced some time for early 2016.

The second one’s plot was amazing, man. You should play it.

    Just skip Gates to Infinity.
