Atlus Shows Off Stella Glow’s Opening Movie in English

Atlus has uploaded the opening movie to the Imageepoch-developed Stella Glow, only this time the opening movie is in English.

Featured above, the opening cinematic features the singer Konomi Suzuki singing an English version of the song “Hikari no Metamorphosis.” For those purists out there, the original “Hikari no Metamorphopsis” is going to be in the English release as well.

Stella Glow is slated for a North American release on November 17th, 2015.

It’s cool of Atlus to do this but sometimes it just doesn’t sound quite right when songs are dubbed into English like this. Not to take away from the singer but having someone that probably doesn’t speak English fluently sing can be a hit or miss. And this one is a miss in my opinion. I’m glad they kept the original version in at least, though if it’ll be an unlockable or if they’ll give you the ability to switch out the openings is yet to be seen. I’ll be keeping my eye on this game though since I haven’t played an SRPG in a while.

Simple and Clean is probably the only song in a game I’ve thought sounded better in English.
