Abyss Odyssey Now Available For Playstation 4, Comes Equipped With New Features

Last year, PC gamers were treated to a unique side-scrolling RPG in the form of ACE Team’s Abyss Odyssey, which we reviewed that summer. With its original art style and almost rogue-like style of gameplay, it quickly became a cult hit on Steam. Now, it can try to recreate that success on the consoles – thanks to a re-tooled version now appearing on the PS4.

This new release, called the Extended Dream Edition, features 1080p visuals as well as a duel mode playable by 2-players while online or 4-players during local multiplayer. There’s also several new combos and all the Warlock reveal updates, making it comparable to the older PC version as well as giving console fans something to get excited about.

To celebrate this launch, both the new PS4 version as well as the original one on the PS3 are currently enjoying a hefty 40% off their usual price. This discount is only available to Playstation Plus subscribers, however.
