Celebrate DOOM With A Remaster Of The Original Soundtrack

3D Realms composer Andrew Hushult has released a completely remastered soundtrack of the original DOOM.

Celebrating the entire DOOM community and the legacy that the game has left upon the world, Andrew was working on an updated metal remastering of the game’s original soundtrack. He kept the soundtrack secret over the past year. The soundtrack is based on the very first episode, Knee Deep in the Dead.

Andrew released the soundtrack today as a free download and a free continuous upload on Youtube. You can listen to the whole playlist above.

Editor’s Note: The article originally stated that Andrew Hushult was the current in-house composer of Interceptor Entertainment – he is a composer at 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment, not id Software/Zenimax, who are working on Doom 4. This is also a fan-project, and not an official release. This has been amended for accuracy.
