Microsoft has announced the worldwide release date for Windows 10.

The highly-anticipated operating system will be made available on July 29th. Featured above, a new overview trailer was published by the company, just in case you need a refresher of what it looks like, and what is coming in the new OS.

If you own a machine with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you’ll get a free upgrade to Windows 10. To help spur their users into considering this upgrade, all Windows 7 and 8.1 users will get a small notification in their task bar, when Windows 10 launches.

So what are the major highlights of new stuff coming in Windows 10? Halo‘s Cortana is being integrated as a personal digital assistant, streaming between your Xbox One and Windows 10 machine is possible, the Start menu is returning, Internet Explorer has been dumped for the new Spartan Browser, and more.

Here’s Microsoft’s press release:

With Windows 10, we start delivering on our vision of more personal computing, defined by trust in how we protect and respect your personal information, mobility of the experience across your devices, and natural interactions with your Windows devices, including speech, touch, ink, and holograms. We designed Windows 10 to run our broadest device family ever, including Windows PCs, Windows tablets, Windows phones, Windows for the Internet of Things, Microsoft Surface Hub, Xbox One and Microsoft HoloLens—all working together
